Sure it's been asked, but can men be bisexual?

I'm sure I can search this forum and find hundreds of posts on here about men being bi-sexual, but I just want some help and support since I feel like a complete freak.

I've always thought I was gay since I was 9 and saw a MTV special on guys coming out. I kind of had a weird sexual experience when I was young. Playing with neighbors daughter, and sons at 4 and 5. Jerking off at school at 6-8 years old. Getting a hand job from my 15 year old girl babysitter when I was 10. I was really fat growing up so it wasn't until I was 15 myself when I had sex with a girl. She sucked my dick, but I didn't get hard. Then I kind of railed her. It just sucked... I didn't like it. When I was 16 I banged this girl who ended up being my gf until I hooked up with her best friend who was also a girl. I always masturbated to shemales since I was 14 btw. Then I when I was 17 I got another gf. We fucked like crazy. I would rail her for days. It was awesome. She was really hot too. I ended up falling in love with her. She asked me if I was gay a few times. I ended up breaking up with her cause I thought I could do better. I was wrong. I banged her best friend right after we broke up, she was also a girl.

Haven't had much action since then. Every 3 months I would call my ex over and we would have amazing sex. Then at 20 I went away for the military. After boot camp, I went to go visit my ex and we fucked like crazy. One point during the visit, she sucked my dick and it went limp. I freaked out. Thought oh no this is it. I'm officially 100% gay now. But later we fucked like crazy again. Now when I hook up with a girl, I get really nervous and think shit I won't be able to get it up. But when I just relax I can, and then I fuck her.

I just visited my friend in college, and we went to a party. I was nervous and wanted to dance with a girl, but for a while I didn't. I finally went in after a few beers, and I was grinding on some chick but she wasn't into it so I left. Then I saw this fine girl, who reminded me of my ex. I wanted to dance with her the whole night, but I was too afraid since she was rejecting every guy that tried. Right when I was about to leave at the end of the party, I saw her there dancing alone. I don't know why but I just went up to her and started grinding with her. She looked up at me and I guess she liked me cause we started going at it. I had the biggest boner I've ever had. I felt like a boss, and I wanted to fuck the shit out of this girl. We exchanged numbers and I never saw her again, but still. I wanted to fuck her so bad.

So that's my story. I know I was kind of rambling but I'm just very confused right now. I should add that I've had sex with maybe 8 or 9 girls and 0 guys and 0 trans. I do get turned on when I think about having sex with some dudes and trans models, but then sometime I get disgusted at the thought. I will also catch myself looking at other dudes. I have also had anal sex with myself, but I also always feel disgusted with myself afterwards. So thanks for listening to my story, my bromosexuals lol.

Hi there, and welcome to EC. Yes, men can definitely be bisexual, as well as any other sexual identity that there is (straight, gay, asexual, etc.). As far as if you are bisexual or not, that's really only something that you can determine. I can say though, that being attracted to trans women would not be the thing that makes you bisexual though, as we are women. If you are attracted to men though, and would like to have a relationship with a man then certainly that would speak to you being bisexual, however, like I said that is only really something that you can determine.

Also, please do not refer to us (trans women) as "shemales". The term is an incredibly derogatory one propagated by the porn industry =).

Men can be bisexual just as much as women can or even bi curious there are some straight men and some straight women well straight people that love to live in this fantasy world where only women are bi because it doesn't threaten their sexuality .

My apologies about the shemale statement. I do appreciate the advice. I'm just very confused, and I want desperately to be straight. I guess the only way to figure out if I'm not straight or not is to hook up with a guy. I figure if I go for a transfemale first to work up my courage, then go for a guy. I'm just insanely insecure about my sexuality.

You don't need to hook up with some one to know your orientation . I don't advise that you do this .

Really? But then how will I truly know? I've always been so scared to try to hook up with anyone else but girls, even sometimes with girls. How am I suppose to know if I am gay, or bisexual, or just even bi curious without testing the water. It's like food or a sport. How can you know if you like or don't like it without trying it?

You follow your heart and how you feel , the reason I tell you not to hook up is because I had a bad experience doing this and you should not dive into it head first . Instead of hooking up try exploring by maybe dating a guy you like but let him know up front that your questioning and not quite sure .

I think it would be inadvisable to treat a trans woman as a sort of stepping stone to figuring out your sexuality. It's unfair to her to be treated in such a way, and also, it won't be effective at all because we really are simply just women. There will be extraordinarily little similarity between a dating/hooking up with a trans woman and man. Further, a lot of trans women have no desire at all to use their birth equipment so if that is a primary motivator for seeking a trans women, it probably will not prove that fruitful.

Don't worry about the shemale statement, many people are very ignorant (not necessarily in a bad way mind you) about trans* people and aren't aware that words like shemale and tranny are highly offensive. I'm happy to educate someone willing to learn.
