Step 1: Meet a special person who I really like and fancy. Realise they like me too. Step 2: Become excited about this person, because it doesn't happen every day. Then try to get closer to said person. Step 3: Soon discover that special person is already casually involved with lots of other people, who then thwart every effort between me and the special person to get close to each other. Rinse.
