Is anyone here in a polyamorous relationship? Lately I've been thinking about how interesting it would be, and then I could have a guy and my girlfriend.

    How do polyamorous relationships work?

Any advice from anyone in a polyamorous relationship?

I should also specify that I'm not as interested in a sexual relationship with a man as I am an emotional one. I love my girlfriend and I want to continue in that relationship, but I also crave a man and I've always seemed to be inclined towards loving more than one person. I don't know how my girlfriend will feel about this, so there's that too, but one step at a time.

My trans friend is in an open relationship and him and his girlfriend are really happy.

Just prepare for jealousy wars, even they have them.

In the long term it never works out too much drama emotional baggage between the people it's what you call a prolonged hook up in the end it's going to be just two people and someone else getting between you two better to explore your sexuality outside of a relationship and not be selfish

I'd recommend reading The Ethical Slut if you haven't already. I think it's a great book whether you're interested in polyamory or not.

From personal experience I highly WOULDNT suggest doing so.
My ex-girlfriend decided to date a guy and me - tried to do a poly-thing relationship and Its was just such an epic fail.!!!!
    but every ones different so..
I suggest not to follow through with that Idea- and if you do be very cautious and consider how this might risk your relationship.

Thanks, I'll get it as soon as I can either find it at the library or buy it.
