So, I've been questioning if I'm either bisexual or a lesbian for a while now; and I just took the Kinsey Scale Test and I'm wondering if it's probably the most accurate results I'll get test-wise?
    Thanks so much.

    The Kinsey Scale isn't a test. It's a scale.

THere ARE 'tests' that claim to put you on the Kinsey Scale, but don't ever take them seriously. Never take your orientation from a test. It comes from inside you not a series of tickboxes.

All the Kinsey Scale is for is for you to be able to say "I'm attracted to each gender THIS much". It tries to dispel this idea that bisexuality is 50/50 attraction to male and female.

The Kinsey scale is only as accurate as your self-perception. Kinsey Scale Tests basically consist of asking the person 'what's your orientation' in a bunch of different ways, and then telling them what answer they mostly gave.

I don't think it is it was made in 1940's when no one knew bisexuality existed also I think it has the whole incidentally homosexual and straight thing all wrong and those people are actually bi , I think this is where people get the idea that being bi is 50/50 which is not true .
    Just my two cents

Oh man... I just took that now, twice, and still got "The test failed to match you to a Kinsey Type profile. Either you answered some questions wrong, or you are a very unusual person."
    Yep, I'm broken.

I'm not going to let some test decide my life, true answers only come from you

If this is the one you took : Kinsey Scale Test

Then that is an awful test and it tells you nothing at all. It assumes a bunch of things about the person being tested that are pretty important in some of the answers. For example if you avoid watching porn altogether obviously you avoid watching homosexual porn - that would give you 'straight' points.

It also doesn't ask nearly enough of the right questions to give you a solid result.
