Hi everyone, Im 14 and have been questioning my sexualitiy for quite some time now. Ive come to the conclusion that im definetly not straight but i really dont know if im bi or gay. I still kind of find girls attractive and i do get erections when looking at straight porn but guys are much more attractive to me. I could imagine myself being with a guy much more than i could with a girl. Im not as confused as I used to be but its still not really clear. Thinking back at what I thought about guys when I was younger but tried to shut out, its really looking much more like liking girls is just something i have trained myself to think because i didnt want to be different. So what am I? Bi, gay or is it just a phase? Thanks to anyone answering.
Well you are young, but if your sure you find boys attractive then embrace it, I thought about coming out at your age, but I retreated back into the closet and refused to let myself think I was gay, note I'm 24 and I'm just now coming to terms with it.
There is no "just a phase" that i'm aware of. That's just what we tell ourselves. For me, watching lesbian porn (my friend got us to watch) convinced me i'm not into that at all. With hetero porn, you could just be more into the guy of course. Your explanation for 'liking' girls in the past because it's what's expected also makes sense. But only you can resolve this.
