What's the difference between being in denial and having an actual fear

    If you're afraid to be a certain sexuality, does it mean you're in denial or are you just expiriencing common anxiety/fear?

    Well... what is it you're actually afraid OF? Social rejection? Religious/moral problems you may have? I think it really depends on the situation here. There's no hard and fast rule. For example, a straight person may be completely fine with LGBT people, but wouldn't want to BE one, and may be uncomfortable thinking about it. That doesn't make them homophobic, or in denial either. I think if you figure out what it is that you're actually afraid of, and why you are, things will become clearer :slight_smile:
