My brother is gay, my aunt is lesbian and one of my mum's cousins is gay. Also have a family member in Australia who is gay. My grandad used to cross-dress and so there is some questioning of whether he was trans, but who knows?

I've never ever heard of any family member that is lgbt.
I just got one uncle that likes to cross dress but that's it.

:frowning2: My parents are from India, so I have a huge extended family there are and in the US, many of whom I know well. Not one of them is out. I really feel lonely going to large family events.

My father is somewhere between straight and bisexual.

Meanwhile I have at least one gay cousin (same age as me too), very possibly more. Not any aunts or uncles that I know of, but if you go another step removed I have plenty of other queer relatives.

Not that I know of, nope. But I only know about aunts and cousins, so maybe there are lgbtq people in my family I'm unaware of.

I have none. In fact I have no openly lgbt friends.

I will be the first... As well as the first to get an advanced degree... a black belt... but I digress.

I have an aunt but I haven't seen her since I was a kid, I remember she was always with her girlfriend and I thought they where sisters then one day I saw them kiss and she told me she was her girlfriend
I was kinda sad that I stopped seeing her because she had promised me that if they ever got married I could carry their rings, and they where also pretty cool

There's also my big brother but I don't know if he counts since my father somehow got him back in the closet and convinced him that he was just confused (it was really weird because he seemed supportive but somehow shoved him back into the closet), I know my brother and even tho they got him back into the closet I'm 100% sure he's pan

Two close friends of my god-family are lesbians. They got married when I was 7, and I got to be the flower girl.

I suspect my mother is somewhat bisexual, since she's told me "I experimented with women before I had you, but I wanted children." She's also pretty biphobic and she says "they should just pick one." That way of thinking might have also caused her to "turn straight."

As for my birth-father, everyone in my family was shocked when they found out he was dating a woman. Apparently, he used to be very girly, plus, he did some experimenting himself (according to my family). My mom was Atlanta's gay club scene back in the 90's, so it would surprise me if he was too.

He's also EXTREMELY homophobic (mostly towards gay men and he refuses to take lesbians seriously) and has been divorced 4 times, so it wouldn't shock me if he harbored a ton of internalized homophobia.

My niece. And I have some suspicions about several others, both alive and dead.

Hmm, my dad's half-brother (whom he'd only met once) was gay apparently, but he threw himself off a bridge before I was born. So nope
