Hi. I haven't been on this site for very long. When I joined, I was under the impression that I was a lesbian but after doing some fairly extensive research, I discovered that I was actually an Homoromantic Asexual. I know that the site pertains towards members of the LGBT community but, I am unsure whether or not Asexuals are welcomed into the mix, seeing as there has been some debate on its inclusion into the community in general. If Asexuals aren't welcomed, I'll just leave the site.

    Thanks.

P.S I apologize if I'm posting this thread underneath the wrong subject!

EC welcomes everyone! Straight, gay, bi, queer, asexual you name it!

Being asexual myself I wondered the same thing when I first joined

Everyone is welcome here, when I joined I thought that I was a heteroromantic demisexual. I now know that I am Bi, but that was a journey within its self, and this site was helpful for me.

Yes evreyone's welcome. I think there are even cisgender straight people in here.

And PlantSoul I know I'm not theFSM but I stands for intersex.

When I first joined the site I was a little iffy about it too because it only said for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered.. Or something like that. But in my time of being here I've seen other Asexuals and not just that but if they have a gay site It should be open for other sexualities. I mean gay itself is a minority so wouldn't asexuality be included? I understand how you'd think it shouldn't be because our society is so sex filled and the sexualities are all sex and asexuality is like anti that so we are kind of the odd one out in a way. lol

I'm new and was wondering about that too but from what I've seen and heard, definitely. If anyone is looking for a more asexual based site, AVEN is really great and has forums to ask questions. Just thought that might be helpful
