I know you guys see this pretty much all the time but anyway I am a 16 year old guy and I am very confused about my sexuality. When I was younger roughly probably 10-13 I would look at gay porn and lesbian porn and get off to it and everything when I was 14-15 I would occasionally look at gay porn maybe 1 out of every 5 times I touched myself and most of the time I would get off before the video even started not really even seeing any sex or anything I feel like I got off because of the excitement of watching something like that. Well anyway one of my friends saw what kind of porn I was watching so I didn't know what to say and it really made me reflect on myself of what I am so basically I am trying to figure out my sexuality I look at gay porn now without the suspense of looking at it and I don't get an erection or anything I look at lesbain porn and get an erection I talked to this gay guy about experimenting but backed out because I didn't really want to I have had sex with this girl three times I've really liked it I know I do for a fact like girls but I don't know if I am into guys or not. I basically try to masturbate to gay porn sometimes nothing happens idk if it was a horny rush I got from watching it or what idk I don't really have urges for men but is it normal to get off to gay porn when you are younger and not really find it appealing now or am I bi? I mean I don't know how else I can really know it freaks me out that I use to get off to gay porn so I don't feel straight but I don't think I'm gay but I feel more straight then bi but i probably am big

Have you already felt any urges for men before? Do you get horny while watching gay porn? Does your sexual fantasies include men? How so? Do you find any man attractive or already thought that before in the same/similar way you find women attractive? I'm not am specialist, but this might help a bit. I already heard that if you completely quit porn for awhile and try to masturbate using fantasies coming only from your head could help you find out you sexual orientation. Also paying attention to what kind of people you find attractive. The kind of porn you watch usually doesn't indicate your orientation though I believe that what calls your attention towards it could help you figure it out, not sure about that though.
I personally don't find porn a very reliable way to find a label for sexuality. Mainly because the viewer is only viewing and not actually one of the people doing it. However, I guess it could possibly help indicate your sexuality if watching it made you fantasize about yourself having sex with someone instead of watching two strangers? If you ever fantasize, take note of the gender of the other person.
Ditto to what your peers have already said... From someone who is older, I find that sometimes porn just doesn't work on me anymore if I've spent too much time looking at it. Sorta like porn overload. The visual impact it has starts to wear off and it isn't helpful for masturbation. One thing suggested on here that I read in cases like this is to turn the porn off.. And do a mental image yourself. Let your mind wander and experience whatever/wherever your mind takes you. The trick is to not suppress any of your desires and to let y our mind wander. For some this can be enlightening, others have a hell of a time doing it. But I would say that porn isn't a reliable indicator of anything. There are plenty of types of porn that don't fit any of the types you mentioned and that doesn't make someone ONLY interested in that either. So just enjoy the porn, but give your mind a good workout too and enjoy where it goes...
