You may be bi with a preference for women, or it's possible that the guy is flamboyant and/or feminine, which you find attractive? That's my cousin for you. He's a gay guy but acts very girly and feminine.
Hope this isn't too forward but I know some lesbians who I've been really close with, they are like protective and always take a masculine role which made me feel safe. Even if it isn't romantic it's lovely to have a friend who is defensive and I can grab onto haha
