    Hello,

Does anyone from the UK know if you can get free therapy for ocd or a therapist for sexual orientation, or do you have to pay for these things?

    Many thanks

Depends on circumstances. I think you would need to speak to your GP first. If he/she agrees you may be able to receive a number of free sessions on the NHS.

Do you have any idea what circumstances would qualify me for that?

Your GP would want to assess how the issues with OCD and/or sexual orientation are affecting you emotionally and what impact it's having on your life. He/she would need to be reasonably sure that the course of therapy would be effective before making a referral as there is a high demand. If you visit your GP, be as honest and descriptive as you can be (remembering that it's confidential) about the situation and how it's making you feel/affecting your daily routine. The more you can say, the better.
