After about a week of meeting this guy, he was obsessed with furry Hentai and showed me a lot of pictures from the internet and I don't know if its messed up or not but I feel so tingly and excited whenever I take a look at the pictures. The furry creatures are all so muscular and well hung and that just gets me every time I see it and now I am looking at it all the time and I don't know if its cause of the guy I've been talking to or if I generally love this stuff. So I am essentially turned to a furry (or its a phase, I don't know)

Please don't judge that I'm a bad person from enjoying this type of artwork as I would never have sex with animals I just really love imagining what it would be like if I was in that situation as that fox or wolf or whatever is engaging in a sexual activity. None of this really matters I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are on furries

I like furries a lot, and that doesn't mean i want to have sex with real animals. Furries are antropomorphic animals, not just normal animals. It is totally different in my opinion.

Not a go-to but I've seen the pr0n. Don't get the lifestyle stuff but people gotta do what they gotta do. Long as nobody gets hurt I say.

Im hooked on the more explicit side of things :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I guess as the drawn animals are in the shape of a human the attraction to them is normal lol. Thanks for all the input guys

As someone within the furry fandom who writes and publishes adult romance while also being a fan of the clean stuff, I'll say that the fandom is just another fanbase much like trekkies and Star Wars fans, but ours is much more focused in artwork, allowing images of porn to be drawn much more heavily. I myself do enjoy the occasional porn art--although I'm not a fan of my written adult work, honestly--but that does not make me a person deemed for negative judgement in any way, shape, or form. Enjoy what you enjoy, as long as it is safe!

I like the yiffy side of the furry world, as well as many other aspects of it. It's very liberating, as it allows one to imagine almost anything, sexually, and this is a tremendous and thrilling freedom. I also write some furry 'romance' stories; right now, I'm working on one about two boys, a skunk and a badger, who get sent away to this pray-away-the-gay prison camp, run by the evil Rev. Fox. Of course, it doesn't work, and much mischief ensues!

Well, nice to see some other furs who aren't afraid to say what they enjoy

Aw, thanks! I have the first few chapters that I'm polishing up...gimmie a day or so, and I'll post the story as a journal entry. It involves a good deal of humor, as you might imagine. I find those places disturbing, and then I thought why not make fun of them?I mean, you take a bunch of hormonal gay teens, and send them away to this camp, bunking together. As a 'cure' for being gay this seemed humorously counter-intuitive.

Don't let enjoying teh furry porn get ya down. Honestly I indulge here and there myself. It's not really a big deal, and it DOES NOT mean that you want to have sex with animals. That's completely absurd and stupid. I hate that people even think that at all. >.<

There is a lot more to the fandom than the porn though. It's a fandom centered around art, and there are amazing, talented people involved. If you decide to go the furry route don't neglect to meet some of the people, they're awesome

Sounds like something I'd be down to read myself....

*sighs* I need to get my lazy butt in gear and start writing my own things again.

I'm a furry, and I like both "sides" of the fandom. For one, I've found some really awesome artists, musicians, and authors whom I probably never would have heard of outside the fandom. And yes, some of them write and draw yiff. For the other, I think that the yiffy side of the fandom can be equally attractive because furries can be made to be perfect. The reason that hot wolf on the screen is muscular and cute and has a huge tool is because that's just how someone wanted him to be. As long as the line between fantasy (furries fall in this category) and real life (bestiality/zoophilia) is kept intact, I have no problem making the occasional (or frequent) jaunt into the realm of yiff.

Ah, due to site rules, I'm unable to, as I wouldn't wanna get the site or anyone in trouble. But I may be able to share a 'PG' version/revision. Nonetheless, thanks for the enthusiasm...it was a funny idea to write about.

On a side note, I think furries also tend to be much more open about sexuality and orientation than the general population. It's the first community where I met a good deal of transgender people, and one in which I always felt like 99% of the fandom would accept your idea of gender and attraction, and not judge you for it. I think I read somewhere that about 30-50% of furries consider themselves bisexual, and this seems about right, from what I've encountered.

I also think it's a way to get back in touch with one's basic, primal, biological self, free from so much of the guilt and all the taboos society has put in place. It reminds me that compared to most animals, humans have a particularly good skill at feeling guilty and bad about themselves. One wonders if we really are the 'highest' life form, or if that's just something we've come up with, arbitrarily.
