Can a lesbian not be turned on by lesbian porn?

Most lesbians are not turned on by lesbian porn, It's not made for us. It's common for lesbians to prefer heterosexual or gay male porn

 

Um yeah , I'm not much of a fan of lesbian porn , I did watch it from time to time but I rarely found one that turned me on .

 

Of course. Most lesion porn is marketed toward the male audience. The sounds are unnatural, most of the posing would be awkward or uncomfortable, some of the women have awfully long fingernails. It's genreally not intended for the woman's view, gay or straight. However, many new adult video companies have been created port marketed towards women that includes lesbians and shows more passion, and more...naturalness? Not such obvious and fake acting, I guess. But maybe you just don't like porn. There's really nothing wrong with liking it or disliking it. Both are normal.

 

I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all.. As others have mentioned, lesbian porn is generally marketed for straight men so a lot of lesbians don't tend to like it.. I do like it, but I am picky.. I try to find ones that do seem more natural and I guess home made if you will which there isn't many out there I have found so far.

 

Most lesbian porn is very unrealistic, they have been told to act a certain way and besides most of the women are not even lesbian/bi so they're not really into it. There is only one specific site I've seen which was a bit better because it was made by women for women but unfortunately I don't think we are allowed to post the names of porn sites here. But try googling: 'realistic lesbian porn'.

 

Once I started to really tap into my femininity, porn started to lose it's appeal. Until I found two actual lesbians who were actually into each other actually making love to one another and not just screwing.

It's the emotional connection and the expression of that really does it for me. If it's at all scripted or fake it becomes really obvious and not arousing at all.

If you're a lesbian, why would you enjoy sex from a hetero male point of view? Plus, masturbation is about self-love. When used for stress relief it becomes fast food.

 

i actually hate porn , i dont like to watch it and lesbian porn seem to be marketed for men , so il echo what the others have said.......i dont like porn.

 

i do not do the porn and i do not care for hetero or gay men but i will say that two ladies being friendly and polite to each others in ways that is not typically seen in society, well, i get a feeling or four

do not be made ashamed of what you like, i think my unpreference for it stems from just a lot of body exposure issues in general not because of a moral high ground or anything like that

I'm gay, but I'm not really as tuned on by gay porn as I am by straight, which is weird to me. I get really turned on by the sounds that girls make and their bodies sometimes, but I don't feel any desire to have sex with a woman in real life. It's...confusing to say the least.

I don't think it's abnormal. Porn isn't a natural thing, so it makes sense that it just messes with our brains sometimes. I wish I didn't watch porn :/ But sometimes I break down and do it an it makes me feel disgusting inside...

 

I very rarely watch porn now.

Prior to my transition I watched a lot of it. I had a very high libido and I think I just tried to wear myself out so I could actually concentrate on nonsexual things. At that point I didn't really feel ready to deal with my sexuality. I was so messed up and confused.

Now I read romances and erotic novels. I enjoy them a lot more than I ever enjoyed porn. Usually there is a story and love and happy endings. That's something that I sorely need more of.

 

Yes, that's normal. I don't like porn either. I find sex scenes in movies and tv shows hot though, probably cause characters have a backstory and there are romance elements which porn lacks.

 

As a Bisexual male with a stupidly high libido and a mild porn addiction I can confirm that lesbian porn is aimed at men. Lesbian porn is to men what YAOI is to women and I love them both!

 

I am not a girl, but I find lesbian porn to be very fake and unattractive usually (and I'm bisexual!). There are some good ones, but I don't like searching for it because I can find other good stuff so much more easily.

That being said, I rarely watch porn in general. The last time is loooong ago haha.

 

That is completely normal. I avoid lesbian porn because it is so fake, unnatural and ridiculous... and like femmesday said super long fingernails...it is wrong, I hate it.

I've watched very little porn since beginning being a woman. Most 'lesbian' porn is designed to appeal to straight guys.

There are some things that are actual couples that are into each other, and they are kind of amazing.
