is it ok to label as gay / pansexual or just pansexual but prefers boys?

    Hey,
    i am attracted to all 3 genders but the majority of my feelings are for boys. so is it better for me to label as just pansexual prefers boys or gay / pansexual?

    advice needed NOW!

    I don't think labels are that important,you should just go with the flow, love who you want to love

    This is true, it sounds like you're putting a lot of pressure on yourself to fit into a specific 'label'. It's okay if you don't fit a specific sexuality! :slight_smile:

    However, "Pansexual with a preference for males" sounds like a perfectly fine description to me.

    We all understand how important labels can be when you do want one, and want to feel like you belong somewhere. But sexuality and labels can change. I would say go with whatever you prefer for now. Almost everyone has some kind of preference, so pansexual with a pref for boys is totally valid. :slight_smile:

    If you are worried that coming out as gay, then finding a girl you like and maybe even date, would have negative consequences (people questioning your "gayness" etc), then you may have to just explain your situation a bit more in depth. Hope that helps.
