When you see a straight couple on the street, to which one do your eyes go first?

Basically I wanted to ask people the question in the subject heading.

I honestly can't remember if it has ever happened that I've seen a straight couple on the street and my eyes have gone to the girl before the guy. I've always taken that as relatively significant, because obviously my eyes are moving before I'm conscious of where they're going to be looking once they stop moving.

But also if this is a widespread thing, I'm surprised that I've never heard it raised as evidence that it can't be a choice to be gay. Just wondering what other people's thoughts on this are. Thanks.

I always look at the girl first, and if she is really beautiful then I'll look at the guy after that and think how he's super lucky and hope he treats her right (I'm very much a sap), and if he's not attractive then I'll think how she can do better (rude I know lmfao).

Interesting question, I will have to observe myself in real time, so to speak. But I generally check out both, and in no particular order I'm aware of.

    Neither usually.
My eyes prefer the ground over people watching.

I tend to look at the guy, then the girl and see who did better for themselves... (I'm terrible XD)

Usually the girl, but it's situational. Sometimes the guy is flamboyantly dressed, or striking in some way, so I'll look at him first.

    Unintentionally: the girl.
Intentionally: the guy. Because if I look at the girl first, then the guy, you can bet you last penny he'll have seen me looking at his girlfriend. And in England it's usually the start of trouble.

The female first, so that I can make the "first" purest assumption about her and then judge why the guy (who I look to next) would be stupid enough to go with her and not with someone like me. That is unless I subsequently find the guy attractive, which usually results in me staring weirdly at both of them and confusing them.

I typically look at the guy first, then I look at both of them together and then wonder how a straight relationship works. I don't know I just find them quite perplexing for some reason. I guess I just like same sex relationships better.
