Now I know that sexuality is fluid and that its on a scale. With yesterday being a prom example of what in feeling, there's days when I feel 99.9% Gay, and moments where I feel great and moments where I'll go suicidal. Then today, when there weren't many attractive guys to look at, I looked at girls.

I feel like I got some sort of a bipolar issue here.

I feel like gay is the label that fits me the most at the moment but at the same time it doesn't feel right when I have attractions to girls. And speaking of girls, my attractions to them go from extremely sexual and pleasurable thoughts to complete rejection, almost like a switch. I guess in the end, it depends on who is there to look at. When I have these feelings for girls, I feel like the gay label doesn't fit me.

Would bisexual (preference for guys) work better in this case? What do you think? And this isnt the first time where attractions for both genders have gone back and forth.

Maybe just bisexual because your preference keeps changing. I don't think it's a good idea to try to label your preference. When I identified as bi I constantly obsessed about preferences and later percentages.

See I identify as bi/pan, could care less about labels, or percentages. I've only dated/hooked up with 6 guys 17 - 47 since last October. I was married to my wife for 21 years. I lived straight because I was monogamous. I was coming to grips with my sexuality for several years, slowly, on my own.

I don't think I would ever change my designation.

And neither would I if I found out who I was. I feel like I could end up happy with either genders, but in different ways of course. And I want to be with guys more just because it "goes against the norm", and fuck norms, you know?

The experiment will do that do you. I haven't been around men lately so of course my eye catches the closet thing to me, women. I think that's normal. I'm happy the experiment is working out so well for you and that you're beginning to be able to come to terms. I think bisexual with a preference for guys would work perfectly in this case. But it's you that gives yourself a final label and I don't want you to feel pressured to label yourself early on. Good luck
