I'm attracted to girls regardless of their current biological sex, so I thought I was a lesbian. However, I'm also attracted to non binary people who are bio-females. Technically that would make me bi since I'm into more than 1 gender. However I only like people who are girls and/or bio-female, but not bio-females who are men. I'd wouldn't date a bio-male nb; I'd only date a bio-male if they were a trans girl. So am I bi? I think if I was bi I'd like girls and nb people irrespective of biological sex, which I don't. Since I like people who aren't men and who're female and or a girl, am I a lesbian? Anyone in the same position as me? What word would you use to describe my sexuality? Help appreciated.
Certainly not bisexual, which refers to being attracted to both sexes (male and female); not to more than one gender. If I'm understanding you right, you sound like a lesbian with fairly open-minded tastes.
I'd say you're a human. But maybe polysexual (attraction to more than two sexes or genders but not all) or lesbian depending on how you view gender identification.
Idk, my friends who are bi and from what I can tell, a lot of the bi community would define bisexuality as being attracted to two or more genders, so with all due respect, i'll have to disagree with you there. But i see your point. An open minded lesbian is an alright label by me though I'll stick with it
