I have always liked boys but few years ago I started feeling sexually attracted to women and I fell in love with a girl friend. I haven't liked a girl since her but I considered myself bisexual though I prefer boys. But then I heard about pansexuality and I think the term pansexual fits me better. I could like a person of any gender. I would date someone of any gender if I really liked them. At least I think so. But how can I be sure if I have never met anyone who wasn't a boy or a girl (I don't want to offend anyone but I don't know what words to use)?

I think that if you feel you would date someone of any gender, you can define yourself as pansexual, even though you've never experienced something with anyone that wasn't a boy or a girl. Straight people know that they're straight way before they have romantic or sexual experiences, so why shouldn't you?
