Hello! So Im abit confused about my orientation. I am 28 years old. Went through about 26 years of my life thinking I am straight but worrying that there might be something. Now I have realised guys do turn me on. What confuses me is I have had nomerous girlfriends and nomerous female sexual partners. I usually have a hard time get it up with a girl i just gotten to know but once I know her it hasn't really been a problem. Well maybe from time to time I wont get really hard, just "half". When I see girls outside I check them out thinking they are hot and that I want to be their boyfriend. With girls I am with I get attracted to them, mostly the behind, I dont like the look of the vagina, AT ALL. From looking at guys on the internet and porn I think I can say that guys seem to turn me on alot more then girls. It seems more natural, it just comes, with girls I have to work harder. So this would make me think im gay, but what about all those times that I have actually felt attracted to a girl? Though I dont think it is as much as it can get with a guy.. What do you guys think is going on? Thanks for reading..
Hi! To me it seems that you are gay. That you see girls attractive don't mean that you can't be gay. That you don't feel fulfilled with a girl can mean that you are gay. If you don't get turned on by girls can mean that you are gay. There is many things that can mean that you are gay. You can use the Kinsey scale to determine your sexuality. It helped me when I wasn't sure. I think that you aren't bisexual, because of that what you told. I think that you might be 5-6 on the kinsey scale (Homoflexible-homosexual). Thanks for your answer! What exactly do you mean by "feel fulfilled with a girl"? Do you mean sexually? And with homoflexible, means someone can sometimes swing the other direction too?
The only explanation I can think of in easy words, is that you are sexually attracted to guys and also, romantically & somewhat sexually attracted to girls. To make it a bit simpler, Bisexuals or Homo/Hetero flexible are those, who can have sexual/emotional/romantic feeling for both the genders, male & female. Some of them lean more towards gay side, some lean towards straight side and some can be equally attracted to both. But still they are considered as homosexuals. Labels are not mandatory. One just needs to be true to themselves about how they actually feel. Rest will fall in place
And what about romantic orientation? Do you feel a strong feelings only with girl/guy or maybe with both? I have to admit that it seems that you're gay, but I'm no one to tell you what you actually are. But also a lots of details are missing, for example did you ever have a crush on guys? (I hope that's clear. I need to practice my english ^^")
