Hi I've been questioning my sexuality pretty everyday since I was 15. I'm 17 now. I've always liked girls but around 14 I did have toughts about the same sex. Nothing super sexual just like "who am I really watching in this porn?" Or "hey he's kinda cute." I didn't give it much thought at the time because I was most attracted to girls. I do think I have some level of anxiety and it hasn't been helpful during this time.* I was sexting with a female of mine in late 2013 to see if I was gay or not. She sent me... things and I enjoyed it a lot. You'd think that would be it right? Boom I'm not gay. Nah i kept worrying and stressing. Now I can't even sext with girls like that. I don't know If it's anxiety and wondering if I really like girls or just not liking them. I do admit I like guys but I don't feel gay. Not 100% at least. I feel I'm in middle. I know I'm not 100% straight but I think I'm 100% gay either.* I would like to date girls someday and do...things. I know some people say you should experiment but it's gonna be awhile before I can experiment with either gender. Yeah this just kind of rambling. Ask questions and I can answer better.
Hi Theshreks, I am not sure I can add to what others have said- it does indeed look like you might be bi. I think you maybe need to take it a bit easy and let your sexuality/feelings develop without the pressure for labels... From what you say, it sounds like you like both- maybe in slightly different ways. It's perfectly ok to like both and it does not mean that liking one, will make you like the other less, or make the other attraction invalid. If you allow yourself to like guys, it will not make your attraction to girls disappear. Liking girls, does not mean that you cannot also like same sex. I am guessing this is where you anxiety/worry about being gay, after you enjoyed contact with a girl comes from- that you worry that liking guys even a little bit makes you less 'straight/normal'. Or maybe you simply feel that you are not straight- regardless of the fact that you like girls. All orientations are "normal"- don't put pressure on yourself to find your preferences- because maybe you don't have that strong preferences either way- a lot of people are 'in the middle' -its called being bi.
