I might go into a bit of detail here so sorry. I'm a (straight so i thought) 16 y/o male. All my life i have been attracted to women and love everything about them. I've had myltiple girlfriends etc. The thing is that the thought of giving a BJ or cartoon penises turn me on (I kind of already need to be turned on). Actual gay porn is not pleasant to me at all. I can watch it and nothing will happen. It either has to be a fantasy or a cartoon or something. Am I gay or bi? Is it that I'm just bored/desensitized to "normal" porn? I have never been attracted to a man in real life, I cannot see myself ever being in a relationship with a male as I'm just not attracted to them in real life or in that way... but love females and have had quite a few relationships. Porn doesn't always reflect your sexual orientation, although men have a harder time coming to terms with this since they are more visual. So no, you probably aren't gay or bi unless you want a boyfriend or want sex with men.
I'm really confused ATM, I've always thought I was straight. Had a boyfriends since 13years old. Recently split up with a long term partner (3years longest relationship ever). But past few week have been different on feel attracted to women. I don't know if it's be cause emotions are up the air at the moment or what? Any help please
Sexuality can be fluid, so you have to look at your current and past attractions. The simplified version is: If you are only opposite sex attracted, you are straight. If you are only same sex attracted, you are gay. If you are attracted to both/more than one, you are bi/pan sexual. You might want to google Kinsey scale to see where you fall. Good luck!
Well, if you are curious, see if there is a female type of person you like and date, etc for a while. If you get into it and enjoy yourself, then there you go. If you can't get into the moment with her, or any other woman, then you are probably closer to straight. Sexuality is a continuum and, for some of us, not necessarily fixed at any given moment. Just relax and enjoy yourself.
