I'm 14 and recently came out as bisexual to myself and friends. The only thing that makes me unsure and worried is the fact that I am just 14- am I too young to know especially since I have never had a relationship with either sex? Thanks
Is 14 too young to know you're straight? Do you need a relationship with both sexes to know that you're 100% straight? If not, then you are not too young to know you are LGBT. It's something homophobes just want us to believe.
You don't need a relationship to prove anything, it's how you feel inside. And by the way, fourteen is definitely not too young!
If you feel same-sex attraction, and it's pretty clear to you that it feels the same way you feel about opposite-sex, then it's pretty clear you aren't straight. Most (but not all) people know at a very young age, often before age 10... but some don't really come to awareness of it until much later. So I'd say you're not too young to know you have same sex attraction. Exactly where you are on the spectrum of gay vs straight might take some time to figure out, but that really isn't very important in the long term.
I KNEW I liked girls when I was in 1st grade. Thats the earliest I can remember my feelings for girls. I am now 22 and I am lesbian! It is all about how you feel. Never be ashamed and NEVER SETTLE. Make yourself happy!
