i know it's all up to me and how i feel/want to identify, but out of curiosity, would you identify as gay or bi if you were a 5 on the kinsey scale?

I suppose it depends on what you mean by incidentally heterosexual (Kinsey 5). Does it mean rare, like that one exception that you would totally marry/fuck/kiss, or does it mean not intense?
If it's a straight crush on Simon Baker and that one guy you liked when you were 8, I would probably call myself gay.

The way I see it, if I thought I could enjoy sex and/or a relationship with a guy (even if it was just one guy) as well as with girls, I would self-identify as bi. If I was open to dating a guy, I would publically identify as bi.
If it's just the occasional guy I find cute but I have no interest at all in sleeping with or being close to... I'd go with gay.
