I remember taking the test before , when I first found this site
but cant remember where it was..

any way re took the test again and it says in my results

    Equally heterosexual and homosexual.

    wasnt sure on this question

I find ["men" if male, "women" if female] more attractive than ["women" if male, "men" if female]..

When I was questioning, I took a bunch of those tests. I agreed with some results, and disagreed with others. I suddenly had the realization that my agreeing and disagreeing proved that I already knew my sexual orientation. I realized that I was just taking those tests to confirm what I knew. Maybe you are having a similar experience.

I took those tests in the beginning as well, just to get a general idea of where I might fall on the scale. Like Awesome has also said, I agreed with some and disagreed with others.

But for the most part, I'm somewhere between Kinsey 4-5, but rarely 6. I would consider myself 6 if I had no attractions to women whatsoever (like a lot of gay men do), but I've always felt a bit different with women, and now I realize I feel much different about men.

Therefore, this might hint at my bisexuality (gay leaning), but for now I don't stress over labels.

I've looked it up and I don't think there is actually a credible Kinsey Scale test. There are a bunch of online tests, but I read somewhere that you are supposed to place yourself on the scale.

Correct. There is no official Kinsey test according to the Kinsey Institute, the research institute at Indiana University where Dr. Kinsey did his work. The online tests I've seen referenced on EC are not based on clinical research. Anecdotally, many folks report that these tests score 1 point lower than how they self-identify, that is, people who identify as Kinsey 5 often score 4 on the online test.

That's just where I sit on the scale. I like guys for sure, but not equally as women, there I am not a Kinsey 3. Things have changed, and it may definitely change in the future. Just trying to be open about it as much as I can.

I think be happy with you and feelings. I rate a Kinsey 3 by "Test". II sat down down and made a male and female list in a few different ways. There is a variation to any scale. I looked at my young curious to present (from curious to interaction including all) and broke down 3 different ways and figured out for myself. #1 "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" (50/50). #2 Any type of physical contact (1 more boy than girl). #3 A relationship including sex (1 more girl than boy). #4 Ask me who was my best lover.....someone else can flip the coin and call it between the boy and the girl because I couldn't.

I took these test, just for a bit fun.

My average is between 80-90% or 5-6 on the kinsey scale. I would put me self at 6 on the Kinsey scale.

I never liked binary sexual orientation tests. Not only does it exclude gender non binary people, it also excludes pansexual people.

I've always self identified as a 5ish. Too soon to know for sure, definitely not 6, but still very heavy leaning.

I never find those tests useful. They always ask about sexual attraction. I have a hard time answering questions about who I've been sexually attracted to. If I could easily answer those questions I wouldn't be taking those tests. This test is a good test in theory. It asks you to rate how attractive pictures are instead of asking about sexual experiences or sexual attraction. The only problem is, it thinks I'm a gay man. That kind of makes sense because they haven't created an accurate test for women.

Are you sure that this test is serious? Kinsey theory has a lot of limits.

    Same. Same same same.

I reckon the Kinsey scale is useful, but outdated.
