Hey there, so I came out to my best friend yesterday and I feel very liberated. But I also feel kinda lonely, because besides the internet, I dont know any LGBT+ people. I know, this shouldnt be an issue, but I kinda feel like an outsider because of that.

Does anyone have the same 'problem'?

Yep! I only have one friend who is LGBT - it's hard sometimes. Do you have an equivalent of a Gay-Straight alliance at your school? That might help. Or even a theatre group?

I'm not out to anyone purely because most of - if not all of my friends are quite homophobic and rude about lesbians, always commenting on how lesbians scare them or are "gross". So yeah I feel really alone myself and if it wasn't for my friends I probably would have told someone by now...
