I was wondering what an actual first gay experience felt like? Was it like fireworks? I had fireworks but I'm still not sure if I'm gay or bi.

So I search google "first gay experience" - the first 10 results were heartfelt stories/discussions, but they were all geared towards men.

So I search google "first lesbian experience"

4 out of 10 search results were for porn.
I mean, come on. I am making a big deal over nothing. I don't want to be an angry LGBT woman raving at our hetero/male-domiated society. But I'm really annoyed with our hetero/male-dominated society!!! :bang:

So I will stick to EC.

    Just a rant.

I know!! although im pretty sure there are many nohetero/male people who would enjoy those 4 out of 10 results, but it does sometimes feel like the common concept of lesbianism does not belong to lesbians. Its so hard to find info that treates lesbianism as if lesbians were the subject, not the object.

Honestly I'm pleased that it wasn't more than 4 of the 10 search results. People seriously sexualize and fetishize lesbians, and watching somebody's "first lesbian experience" is basically the dream for a lot of straight guys. Not only is that super messed up to begin with (fetishizing relationships between women trivializes those relationships), it also turns something that literally has nothing to do with straight men into just another source of entertainment for them (because apparently everything has to cater to straight men).

So yes, you have every right to be mad about it.
