Does anyone have a good model for understanding the complexities human love, lust, sex? Maybe a link to short concise article on this subject. The three parameters interact forming behavior that exhibits who we are.
Sorry, I don't know much about it myself. Although one time someone told me that the difference between love and lust is that love is selfless and lust is selfish. But that was a priest so take that as you will. It all depends on what you believe about your feelings and other peoples' feelings and how they interact. Lust is a natural feeling that humans feel. But then there's also love. I don't have much experience myself in such matters but I think focusing too much on the lust part in a relationship and not focusing as much on the loving interaction part of it can detract from a relationship. You have to have balance I suppose. It's all kind of interesting to think about though.
