I just found out that there was a romantic orientation called lithromantic. Does anyone identify as this and how did you know you were lithromantic?
There is no such orientation. There is ZERO credible evidence for it; it's something made up by people with no clinical background, professional training, or anything else. Basically, the patterns that describe lithromanticism are consistent with the symptoms of an attachment disorder, which is a psychological problem. It is certainly not a hardwired sexual orientation. (For that matter... there's no credible evidence for a separation between romantic and sexual orientations either. Be very careful where you're getting your information; there are a few message boards and communities filled with people who make up their own labels, with no actual basis or even consistency with which to describe them, and they are doing a huge disservice to the greater community.
