I'm 20 years old and have never previously questioned myself. Maybe I have been so far in the closet all these years that I didn't even know I was gay. Though before this I have always been attracted solely to girls and had a long relationship of 4 years and we had an active sex life. Plenty of people have questioned whether I am gay and I have had a few advances from gay people. Pretty confused about who I am at the moment. I have never found myself sexually attracted to a member of the same sex, but I feel that I could possibly be in the right situation with the right person..? I have thought about it for a while and have become increasingly open to the idea. I have found myself looking at a guy and finding them attractive, but never in a sexual way. I have tried gay porn and fantasies but it doesn't really work for me, I can only become semi-erect. Though I have found no problem with straight porn and fantasies. Is it possible for my sexuality to change or am I just noticing something about myself that I have never known before. Any thoughts?
Hello Other people told you they thought you were gay? You never questionned yourself before? You have been attracted to girls your whole life? You don't find men sexually attractive? Then I don't think ''gay'' is the right word. Porn is a poor judge, but still, you seem to be, at least predominantly on the left side of the spectrum. You can find men beautiful. You might even be a little bit curious. You could try to experiment with men, then I guess you'll know for sure. But don't overthink it. There's nothing to worry about.
It doesn't sound like you're gay. You said you're attracted exclusively to women and not to men. That sounds pretty straight to me. You might be slightly bicurious or just open-minded (since you said that you could imagine being attracted to the right guy in the right situation).
Well I'm sorta new to this kinda thing but it's possible that you could be bisexual and just now figuring it out, just know that we're all here for you Your not alone there are great people on this site and I'm sure you'll get the help you need
It doesn't sound like you would be gay or bi. The other people's opinion isn't something you should worry too much. You can of course explore your sexuality if you wish to. Whatever would be the outcome, it's ok.
