I recently started dating with my math professor. I'm transgender ftm and he is gay who is in his 30s, young for professor. He was my math instructor in first semester and since then we have been talking and hanging out after lectures and office hours. Two weeks ago we confessed to each other. He is the only man i have ever loved, as a bi transman i only dated two girls when i was younger, but never had a relationship with a man. Can't help on your question, but do check your university's rules regarding staff dating students. There may be things he needs to do, such as assign your marking elsewhere, or his career and your reputation could be in trouble.
