I took it last night for the first time and I'm a 4. It doesn't surprise me as I was married to a man before I ended up with my wife. I feel gayer now than I did 20 years ago....but I could still probably "bang a dude" if the need arose. LOL

But would I feel any emotion to it?...definately not.

I know that there are a lot of tests, but as far as I know Kinsey himself didn't create one.
Most of the tests I took were really stupid and nothing to be taken serious.

It's a bit different sexually and romantically for me. Sexually I'd say maybe a 2 and romantically a 1. So 1,5 as an average? ^_^

The problem I have with a test like this is that you can only answer with what you currently think you know your feelings to be. Or from your past experiences which, unless you're a fully out, self-actualized version of yourself, is only a subset of the possibilities.

I think I've gotten a 5 on it if I answer honestly, but I believe all such scales of sexuality are complete and utter bullshit. I don't need a scale to define my sexuality; it's not a statistic. Newsflash: Humans are animals. Animals like to fuck.

Yes, the Kinsey scale was not originally a test to take (and many, but not all, "tests" aren't good). The Kinsey Institute web site describes the original use in interviews that took into account both desires and experience when assigning a scale value to a person.
The Kinsey Institute - Kinsey Sexuality Rating Scale

I think it's very helpful for perceiving orientation on continuum and I am comfortable placing myself around 4.5 to 5. If circumstances were different, I could be 5.5, maybe 6 (if I don't count my previous experience with the opposite sex).

2 - Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual.

Sounds about right I suppose. Though the numbers from online tests are obviously not the be-all and end-all of understanding sexuality/identity.

I say I'm somewhere within 2.8-3.1 range of the Kinsey scale. I'm more than incidentally homosexual but heterosexual. I mean I can masturbate thinking about women and still enjoy it while the same thinking about guys.

I'm somewhere between 3 and 4 I think....honestly it comes up different every time. I don't put too much stock it, but it is fun to try and place myself.

I just took a couple "quizzes" that said I was a 3, which I think is pretty accurate ATM, but I fluctuate between 3-5.
