hi, i haven't been on here since last year. i've discovered a lot more about myself since then. i have learned that i am super gay. i'm not even sexually attracted to guys and i really wouldn't want to live my life with a guy, but a girl. i feel like i'm about 90% gay since i still like guys a little bit. but i was wondering, if i feel this way, could i label myself as gay and not bisexual? or is that wrong since i'm not 100% gay? :icon_sad:
Which label do you think describes you best? Technically speaking, you would be bisexual, with a strong preference for one gender. However, if you feel that this preference is strong enough that using the "gay" label is simpler to describe you, then go for it. There is no "right" or "wrong" here. Pick the one that you feel more comfortable with.
There's always the label "homoflexible", which is the label I most identify with, because I too am mostly gay. I just identify as queer, but you can totally identify as gay. It's my understanding that most homoflexible people do just call themselves gay.
You could identify as either really, that's how I go. Words are just to help communicate what we want.
Everyone has SOME homosexual/heterosexual feelings. Whoever says they are 100% straight / 100%gay are lying. So if you are 95-90% gay then you can consider yourself gay Its your choice what to consider yourself anyway...
I like Sigtu's explanation. I'm 90% gay. I find certain female looks so attractive but I'm emotionally and sexually absolutely drawn to men.
