I've been to both a male strip club (straight) and a gay bar to watch a drag queen show In my experience of the gay club... The people were nicer. The (mostly male) staff could smile at you and mean it. The clubbers seem more friendly and happy to start a conversation. There is no competition of who dresses the best, is richer, etc.
