Okay so I'm attracted to men, cisgender or transgender, doesn't really bother me as far as I know. However since I'm Androgyne, homosexual doesn't really apply anymore. I mean I will use it for the time being but since in not actually male,it is not an accurate term. I think we need sexualities that simply state, 'attracted to males' and 'attracted to females'
Idk that's what I think anyway.
Like maybe 'malsexual' and 'femsexual'. And obviously they would carry over to romantic attraction. Is there something already like this? Idk.

I'd love to see something like that. It's tricky for people with non-binary IDs and mid-transition trans* people to name their sexual orientation, since orientation refers to both the gender of the person you are attracted to and your own gender.

I don't know of any terms that currently do this.

I think that's androsexual and gynesexual? And then for romantic attraction, it's androromantic and gyneromantic.

I think they're fairly uncommon terms so it's not strange that unfamiliar with them. I didn't know either term until I joined EC last year. And no problem, I'm glad you found your term

That's pretty cool! I've never heard those before, and I wish more people used them. Would be better for the entire LGBT community.

Yea, obviously I'm using it now. Oh I love it it's perfect.
Lol the last couple of days I have bombarded the people I'm out too with my recently realised non-binary gender and renaming of my attraction. Fun times.

Well, there are 'gynesexual' and 'androsexual', which actually describe something like you want - attracted to females/males. These terms exist in the scientific community, but are lesser known in the realm of human sexuality.

I think if people were to define these terms with respect to human sexuality and start a bit of visibility, they might be more accepted and well known in the community.
