Author Brenet Brown of the TED Talks series has been mentioned and recommended on the forum several times. I have picked up a few of her books and there isn't much in there that directly addresses sexuality, or maybe I scanned the material too quickly. It's more as if what she discusses would have to be extrapolated and applied to issues experienced by sexual minorities. Is there a specific connection between the work of Brenet Brown and LGBT issues, and I'm asking because of how frequently it has been mentioned on the forum? I'm looking at her written works and they seem to provide very general messages that could be applied to all kinds of life situations. What exactly is it that seemingly links her to the LGBT community? Does she have specific books, talks, blogs, or monologues that specifically address LGBT issues?
