I can't figure out whether I think guys are good looking or if I am attracted to them. How do you tell the difference??? Any suggestions??

Aesthetic = Thinks they look good.
Sexual = Wants to have sex with them.

Easiest way to understand is this. Everyone of every gender and sexuality is aesthetically attracted to both genders in the way we are aesthetically attracted to wallpaper, shoes, and kittens. This does not determine sexual orientation.

Sexual attraction is wanting to have sex with a gender. It doesn't have to be seeing a guy on the street and saying "I would totally have casual sex with this dude right now" since most people don't think that way. You would however, be at least aroused/attracted to the idea of being with him or guys in general. Like if you imagined your own fantasies and could see yourself having sex with guys, even though the guys in your fantasies are not specific people. This is sexual attraction to men and indicates heterosexuality or bisexuality.

So if I think that guys are good-looking, but only have fantasies with females - would that mean that I am a lesbian?

What if I used to have the occasional fantasies about guys, but don't anymore?

Depends. Could you see yourself as a guy in the future, or was it all in the past?

With lesbians especially, there's a lot of pressure to like men to the point that It's not unusual to believe you do deep down before you accept yourself. Others may have a fluid variation in sexuality.

I can't really see the future with anyone right now, because it's all so unclear.

I know I am attracted to the ladies, I just don't know if I'm attracted to guys as well.

Since I started questioning, I've realized that my attraction to "hot" men has mostly been aesthetic. Like I could watch Olympic divers for hours but not want to have sex with them.

In the past I know I had aesthetic attraction to women. Now that I'm letting myself think about it, it's definitely sexual too.

I think it just takes time. Let yourself think about it and see what develops. It's very typical to be confused about levels of attraction early in your questioning.

Just a couple of months. In that time, I've figured out that I'm definitely attracted to women sexually. At the start of my questioning, I just had that aesthetic appreciation. Everything was triggered by months of feeling very much aligned with a group of lesbian/bisexual women in an online community and wondering why the hell I related so closely with their experiences. Then the penny dropped.
