not label yourself as "pansexual", etc.?
Like I wouldn't care about the person I was dating's gender as long as I liked hem as a person. Does this make me pansexual? That said, I'm reluctant to use any labels on my sexuality, idk. Could you like any person of any gender without having to label yourself?

Yes. There is no obligation to label yourself unless you want to or feel the need to.

You don't have to use any labels if you don't want to. They're only there for people who want to use them. I myself have been considering dropping labels because they sure are a piece of work.

    Yes.

I use bisexual because it is easier to explain to other people, but my attractions are not limited to the binary genders, for example.

I am HUGELY against labels. I feel, as humans, we are meant to love other humans which includes the ability to love those of the same sex. Labels, to me, complicate things. Be a human who can love another human, regardless.
