Hi, so I've been facing the fairly common question of straight, lesbian or trans. If I look at pictures or videos meant for each gender, will that actually help and save me an awkward experience? As you can see, I'm getting a bit desperate. This crazy?

    Thanks for reading.

Sorry Asking, but you were unclear.

What is it you hope to get out of looking at pictures or videos meant for each gender? Are you hoping that can help you figure our your sexual orientation?

I agree with Quantumreality in that you were rather unclear.

Before I answer, I want to clarify something: transgender is not a sexuality; it is part of the gender spectrum. You might be thinking of bisexual, but I'm only guessing here.

As far as I know, there are no pictures or videos meant strictly for gay/straight/bi people etc., nor are there videos meant just for men or women. Remember that gender is not completely linked to sexuality in that men can be straight, gay or bi. So can women, as well as all other genders in-between.

The only thing that can determine your sexuality is your own feelings and experiences. Experimenting with different types of relationships may help you to figure yourself out. Unfortunately, there is no surefire way to avoid awkward situations, but everybody experiences those at some point in their lives.

So if you're asking if you should watch porn made for lesbians, straight women, and trans men, the answer is no. I mean, if you want to, go ahead, but porn isn't a good indicator of sexuality. Lots of people like porn that features or is made for people of different genders and sexualities. What might be more helpful is telling us a bit more about what you feel that makes you think you might be a lesbian, straight, or trans. That way, people who have similar experiences to your own can let you know how they feel and how they identify their gender and sexuality.

If that's not what you were asking, please restate your question.
