Why do I feel so disgusting for being a lesbian? I like this girl in my class but every time I think about her I feel wrong for it.
I think a lot of lesbians and gay men have felt this way about their same sex attraction at one point in their lives. You probably feel this way because you picked up at some point in your life that same sex attraction is sometimes seen by others as 'wrong', 'unnatural', 'weird', 'dirty', 'a sin', or something along those lines. It takes time to change the negative feelings you have about your sexual orientation into positive feelings.
