Does imagining that you're a girl whilst jacking off mean you're mentally trans?

Being new here, I'm afraid I can't provide any insight. But I can tell you that you're not alone. I fantasized about being a girl from my first experiences with masturbation as a child. These fantasies carried over into my sexual encounters as an adult with others.

But again, I only know what this means for me and no one else.

I doubt it, because it could just mean you enjoy the thought and act of being the one that is getting penetrated.

I have fantasized about being female many times, but have never thought of actually transitioning into a female.

 

I used to fantasize about being a female when I was agender/genderfluid. However, I don't identify with that anymore. I guess it was just a phase for me, but it was a journey of self discovery that made me more accepting of trans* people.

 

Not necessarily. I've fantasized about being male before when I did that, and part of that just has to do with preferring to take the penetrative role. I identify as a woman outside of it.

Gender is more than just sex roles. Lots of women don't like being penetrated at all, many men will only be penetrated. Transgender women want to be seen as women in all points of their life. Even asexual/celibate trans women exist.

 

Nah, man. Fantasies are just what get you going. They could be about some totally weird shit, and it doesn't mean you actually want what you fantasize about.

 

Sexual fantasies are generally meaningless in terms of identity. Unless you think of being a girl in your day to day life, there is no reason to think you are trans. This is just a sexy fantasy. Also, I recently listened to a podcast where one of the guys mentioned that as a kid he would fantasize about being the girl he was attracted to and pretending he was the girl touching herself. And he mentioned that he talked to other friends who did the same thing. I thought this was quite odd and I had never heard of such a thing, but apparently it's not that uncommon, especially before porn was readily available.
