    Hi all!

    I'm in a quest for girls
What would be your best advice? I read lesbians like flannels, short nails, flat shoes, short cuts, they are confident  Problem is i'm more into femmes which are difficult to tell apart.
I like everything girly: boobs, buts, clothes lol

How do you spot lesbian/bi girls?

    Thanks!:smilewave

Sadly, you can't. Only true way is to ask them.

Ask them what they think about "The L Word."

Lol....I hate the L word, so maybe It's not the best indicator. Then again, that could spark an interesting conversation.

I wish I could help but I'm hopeless when it comes to women. Men seem much easier to read.

There's this vibe that they have... or we have! I realised that since I'm a lesbian, I must have so much in common with other lesbians. So I looked in the inside first, and discovered that I always tense up around men, I don't want their attention, and I don't usually go near them. Not that I hate them, because I don't, they're just not in my interest. So for example at university I usually can be found around girls. And since I don't have a girlfriend, but I always have crushes, I don't want to waste time on men. I also tend to make awkward excuses when a guy hits on me (I'm not out), so if another woman's doing suspiciously similar things in general to what I do in situations like the mentioned ones... she's likely to be a lesbian. And also there's this look in their eyes that I just can't really explain.

I've never seen it but I know I probably should. Tbh, I don't really watch a lot of TV in general.

@skyabove I also notice I am tensed with men  Yes I guess it is a vibe.

Today at work I have noticed two girls who I swear are lesbians. They both were dressed in flannels, jeans, flats. One girl looked at me with that squinted look  It was nice. Even though I'm into femmes, I'll have to chat with her casually, I'm not out of the closet especially at work.

Thank you all for replying  I'm so happy to be here!

Brigianna, it's so weird. A rather not even go near them nowadays, it's ridiculous.

Ooh, it happened to me last weekend at uni as well. There's this girl, who recently had a short haircut, and doesn't dress too girly, I'd say she's a little tomboyish. She's fun to be around. We started to talk and I was getting the mentioned vibe from her...

    I'm glad that you're happy here!

It's about life in a women's prison. It has some love subplots, too, that's why, but I think there's much more to it than that. It gives an interesting insight in the lives of those people and the system which gives birth to crime. The struggles, the unfaireness...

Honestly it really is a vibe more than any hard and fast rules about appearance. Even with feminine ones you sometimes get this vibe, like there's something "extra" to them. I can't explain it, sometimes you can tell in the eyes

There is an incredibly strong VIBE you will feel when you're talking to another gay girl (and you'll feel it even more if you're both kind of interested in each other). It's all in the tone of voice, the expression and most importantly the eye contact. There's this little sparkle/twinkle in the eyes that you get - usually the eye contact is held a bit longer than usual - and there's often a very subtle sort of smile/smirk that just TELLS you they're exactly like you (gay). It's this feeling of warmth you'll feel between the two of you, as if you're both silently saying "you're part of my tribe".

It's very hard to explain, but you will know it when you feel it. When I'm serving customers at work all night on the cash register, I can INSTANTLY feel in my being when I'm serving another gay girl (regardless of what they look like) compared to the hundreds of straight girls I'll serve. It's honestly all in the eyes and in the mannerisms/body language.

I wish There was a wat to spot girls who like girls but unfortunatley there isn't. Although sometimes you just kind of notice or feel it I guess. Like today I randomly say this beautiful girl go by and I just got that kind queer vibe. She wasn't particulary masculine or anything but I just instantly knew and then I noticed she had a rainbow tatoo with 'love is love' written in it. I felt so proud for noticing her hahaa  I guess if you pay attention you can get lucky but usually you can't know :frowning2:
