This may or may not have to do with my current situation, but is there such thing as a sexuality were you are attracted to the same gender (girl who likes girls) but then has a strong yearning for a male companion? Not for a romantic relationship, but for mostly strong emotional support, something that would normally be filled with a romantic partner. Is there such sexuality?
I'm not up with all the lingo, but I've seen some people identify as "homosexual heteroromantic" I think.
