Hey everybody! i'm new to this site and am hoping there will be people on here who've had experiences similar to mine. I only recently recognized that i, in fact, have feelings for other girls (i'm female) that go deeper than friendship, and that i can see myself kissing and dating a girl. Since acknowledging this and sharing the info with my best friend, i feel a lot more comfortable with myself and more confident. I do think that i'm bi though because i generally find men attractive in some ways. Sorry if this is a bit graphic, but i'm only turned on really by hetero porn, but i'm not really a visual person so i was curious if anyone else who likes girls perhaps isn't turned by lesbian porn? Like you'd need a romantic/personal connection for it to do it for you? Also, is it normal to only find a very specific type of girl sexually attractive? Like only androgenous or more butch types? Or is this a sign that i don't like girls? I just dont want to be wrong.. I've also made out with a few guys, and looking back now, it wasnt actually enjoyable. maybe they were just bad kissers or i wasnt into them enough but i though this might be semi significant Thanks so much for any help or advice you can give! Lesbian porn is, by and large, made for straight male viewers, so a lot of lesbian women say they aren't turned on by it. In fact, quite a few lesbian women watch man-on-man porn exclusively. So just because you don't enjoy porn that probably wasn't meant to cater to you in the first place doesn't mean you aren't lesbian. And while it's not the case for everyone, plenty of people, men and women, gay and straight and bi and otherwise, have "types" of people that they're attracted to exclusively. It doesn't mean you don't actually like women if you're only attracted to some of them. I might not like meat sauce, but that doesn't mean I can't say I love Italian food (which I do). Similarly, you might not be attracted to traditionally feminine women, but that doesn't invalidate your attraction to the women you are attracted to.
