Hello everyone, first of all I would like to say that I think it's awesome that there's a place like this Now here's the deal: as the title suggests I have no clue what my orientation is at the moment, and I would like to see if there are people who may had similiar experience or any knowledge that could help me really. I'm a pretty guyish guy, 17 years old, I've tried porn but that just doesn't really appeal to me at all (I can work with it but I don't really like it.) however I have tried looking at pictures of both Men and Women to see what the outcome was, and I've found out that I like how a guy looks (mostly torso and up) and women, I've found that the things most straight guys like aren't really appealing to me either, I think vagina's are, no offense, weird looking, and breasts are just sort of there, they don't really do anything for me at all. however I do like the female body for some reason, I just can't put my finger on what it is, it's not the regular things, that's for sure Also, I have no idea how to anwser the question "can you see yourself in a serious relationship with a man/woman in the future" I wouldn't have any problem with whatever my orientation is, so denial isn't the case here. You are certainly miles ahead of where I was at the same age, and it sounds like you have your head on right. Just keep being honest with yourself, and the truth about your orientation will be forthcoming without much effort. Experiment. Date men And women and see where you honestly gravitate. It is when people fail to be accepting of the selves that they begin down paths of untruth that lead to hurting. Stay interested in the question, and know that only you can know for sure. Thank you, I know I am the only one that can know for sure, and no one can tell me otherwise, but some tips like what you said: "date men and women" are always of great help. Now I just need to know where to find people, especially men because its just a fact that there are more straight girls than openly and accepting gay guys out there. Again, thank you for your time. Welcome to EC! Quite the dilemma, and good for you to try and find out! I would start by asking myself why you are here at EC. But more than that, there is a difference between admiring a female body and wanting sexual relations with a woman (this includes the emotional component, of course). Perhaps that can help. There is a whole range of orientations that are possible, and you will learn these here, but try these on for size (you can Google the definitions): asexual, demisexual, biromantic heterosexual or homosexual. Have fun!
For what it's worth... finding a vagina weird looking isn't gay exclusive. XD And I think you can admire the look of a muscular guy's body even as a straight guy, so don't get hung up on little tidbits. Like the previous posters have been saying, you won't know for sure until you get out there, and there's no reason for you to have to choose before hand.
What I meant to say with weird is "am I supposed to do something with THAT?" to be blunt. and I'm not claiming to be anything until I have some experience of course, however it is really a question that keeps gnawing at you, so trying to find some information/people with similiar experiences is never a bad thing
