Hello empty closet! i am new to this and need a little help...
I am having trouble with who I really am and wether I'm gay/bi/ or straight. I have a girl friend but now thinking about it, it was probably more of "the pressures of live in high school" ( Im in 11th grade). I like her but not in that boyfriend/ girlfriend way. When watching porn it's almost always gay, but all of this still does not help... I think part of it is I'm an art kid and I don't want to be the stereo typical gay art student ( in my school this is almost always the case as well as art schools). Every time I am almost sure and set I change my mind and feel confused and depressed again which is not like me because I'm always happy, and in a good mood. If some one can help me decipher this and just talk to me about it because I can't tell anyone else not even the GLBT club I belong to ( which they believe I'm straight) I would be forever grateful!=)

What's wrong with being a stereotypical gay art kid? Gays are all the rage in Arts nowadays, especially fashion from an article I read a few years ago. Previously it was always female designers being contracted by companies, but it ended up being a bit of the same old same old, whereas with gay designers now it's all fresh and new. I'm rambling and completely out of subject now, but anyway.

You seem somewhat certain that you're gay, considering you're already fighting with yourself so as to not become part of the stereotype (who cares about those, be yourself). I'm also curious as to why you can't tell anyone in your LGBT Club. Seems to me that if your school is open-minded enough to have an LGBT Club and that you're even part of it, you should be able to be more open about who you are.

You really just need to be more accepting of yourself. It's perfectly fine to be gay - or bi, it doesn't matter - there's no need to feel guilty about it, nor hold yourself back because you're afraid of being perceived as such.
