Hmmm... Ill probably play some GTA V, Skyrim, and Black Ops II.

 

Did a test run of Alone In The Dark and after trying to interact with a piano, I got chased by some miniature dinosaur-monster-thing. Delightful!

 

Finished Spec Ops: The Line.

Erm...That was brutal, really uncompromising about how it presents it's story and what it asks of you. OK the shooting bits are a bit generic, but the rest of it is pure gold from the get go. Nice to play a military shooter that doesn't revolve around protecting America from Johnny Foreigner either.

Hey glad someone else knows the brilliance of that game. I would like to just mention something though, if the gameplay was fun would it have really benefited the game?

Moving on to what I have been playing lately, BLAZBLUE!!! I am getting hype about this game and I think I will have to cancel subscription to FF14 to dedicate myself to BLAZBLUE! Can I just say I LOVE FIGHTING GAMES!?

I think the plot is strong enough to carry the game on it's own, but I do think the fact that the shooting sections consisted of pretty much the same idea repeated ad infinitum probably put a few off finishing it. It was just advance, enemies spawn, go to cover, shoot, advance, cover, shoot, advance, cover, shoot, over and over again with the odd moment where you could use sand to kill a few people. The shotgun guys don't really change much, the knife wielding maniacs can be taken out pretty easily before they become a threat and the heavies are just bullet sponges.

I still enjoyed it but the actual game bits aren't something I'm gagging to get back to any time soon.

 

Persona 3 FES. I'm on 12/14, I think. Trying out the Hermit, and Sun social links [Aeon when available, too.] I don't know how I feel about this one in comparison to P4, but P3 is certainly darker. If it weren't for the calendar system, I think I'd enjoy it more. I don't particularly care for it in both games. Hopefully they'll change this for P5.

Beside P3, Final Fantasy X HD remaster, and Dark Souls II.

 

Gonna go buy myself a PS4 today and Fifa 14 :lol:

 

I doubt they are changing the calendar or the general structure of the game and social links.

The gameplay in 3 is inferior to 4, but the story in 3 isn't soooooooo much better than 4, but I'd say it is better.

And p5 is the reason I'm not selling my backwards compatible ps3.

 

I don't play many video games anymore, but did recently get Skyrim on PC, so was playing that a bit.

Otherwise it's FIFA. (And used to play RuneScape, but haven't played in weeks.)

 

I haven't played it in a while now but I liked searching and killing the golden monsters while trying to avoid The Reaper. What's your favourite part on it?

replaying final fantasy x for about the billionth time . i'm a massive final fantasy fan (from 7 onwards, not played the first 6 admittedly, although need to do so at some point)

and thinking of getting the deponia series when i get some money, my friend bought me the first one as he knows i like that kind of game and i got totally hooked and completed it in a day lol

 

Alan Wake update (as of the end of Episode 3): SO GOOD.

 

The last game I played for an extended period of time was Saints Row: The Third. Something about it is so addictive. Dunno what it is. Probably that mind control gun that shoots squids.

 

I played MW3 for some odd reason today lol XD

 

South Park The Stick of Truth, surprisingly good lol

 

I'm not yet "addicted" but certainly enthralled by FF14...
