Seems like being able to open up and express your feelings to your partner is one of the surest ways to bring closeness to your relationship. So, have you and your same-sex partner ever cried in each other's arms?

Numerous times--the one that comes to mind immediately is that we were there together at her bedside when my mother died.

    BTW--you make cool threads.

Nope. Never had a relationship that allowed for an emotional attachment like that.

Physically? No. I've been on a LDR but I've had more comfort from him than any other people offline.

I've never been in a relationship, but even if I were, that just wouldn't happen. If I'm that sad and emotional, I just want to be left alone, and it annoys the hell out of me whenever someone tries to "cheer me up."

More times than I can even count, I cry a lot so it is not really a big surprise that I am crying into my boyfriend's arms. My boyfriend is trans, so it is technically a same-sex relationship

    Interesting thread.

I have not yet but I think I am very close to do so. Been through some serious emotional stress lately and when my BF calls me and say nice things to me I feel a lump in my throat developing and I have to hold back the tears.

Yes we did many times when we were together. It was nice to feel no shame in being able to cry in front of someone else. I find it very hard to cry in front of other people or even to myself really.

If I do cry I tend to do it alone, or if I'm with people I prefer to sit by myself and hide that I'm crying. I don't tend to like people seeing or anything.

I haven't had a partner yet, but this is one of my fantasies. I'm not an emotional person, I believe the last time I cried was a couple of years ago, hell my grandmother died recently and I barely shed a tear (I know, I'm just not emotional), but it will be so amazing when I have someone who loves me holding me in their arms while I cry because of something which I have no clue what it will be. :tears: I can't wait!

Nope. Kinda hard to cry in your partner's arms when you don't have one.

I have. We were laying in bed and he told me something really sad and personal and it made me cry. And I don't cry, ever.
