    One of my profs asked us to email him that we understood the syllabus, so I did. He emailed me back saying that my subject line was "uninformative" and that I needed to reread the syllabus and try again. Now I'm trying to write my first essay for the same prof and even though it's only half a page I'm freaking out over getting everything perfect.

    I got home about 20 minutes ago. My dad had to cover a story on my campus, coincidentally, where a guy stabbing someone got into a scuffle with a campus police officer, putting him the hospital, and requiring a city police officer to shoot the stabber. So the stabber and the campus police officer are in the hospital right now. A 14 inch butcher knife was recovered from the scene, which took place at 4 pm my time.

    I don't care how many times someone tells me I'm doing a great job, I'm always of the opinion that I'm worthy of being labeled incompetent...


    Also, grappling for a European sword-fighting group (first one I had gone to) - I couldn't get through it. I just break down when it comes to engaging in physical contact with someone I don't know well :tears:.


    Honestly, I'm just giving up on this day. Hoping for a better one tomorrow. =(
