Do u compare urself to other people ?

Not often. I used to, but I'm recovering.

 

I'm definitely guilty of this. Everybody is on a pedestal higher than I am until proven otherwise.

 

Yes. I think it need not necessarily be a bad thing, but I haven't really learned to do it in a good way.

 

Yes and it makes it difficult to be content.

 

Yeah I sometimes do. But I look at it everyone is different and even if I'm not great at one thing I'm good at another.

 

Not anymore, no. Or, if I do, I don't realize it.

It's mostly me being unsatisfied with myself. When I see people who seem to be better or more successful than me, I don't necessarily think of them as... well, better or more successful. I'm just very happy for them, and it actually inspires me to work harder.

So yeah. Good habit I made for myself, I guess.

 

Yes, very, very much so. I have a terrible tendency to put everyone besides myself on a pedestal.

 

Yeah, its really ruined my life experience so far... Because I just feel useless compared to everyone else. I know others have it worser.. I've just sunken my mind so much into being inferior, it's just an automatic thought I get.

 

No. I felt like crap when I did. I'm relatively content now

 

I often compare where I am in life to where others are. In terms of careers, finances and personal life/relationships...

I feel like I have to, to keep myself in check.

 

I used to. I don't any more. Instead I try to focus on my own dreams and goals and I remind myself daily that I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself.

 

As little as humanly possible. I don't give a damn what others think, and I don't care to be like most others or compare myself with them. But there are so many dimensions that one can compare oneself along...and sometimes I catch myself comparing myself along certain dimensions. But it always pisses me off when I do.

Looks wise, yes, I do. I do it because most of them are. LOL Intelligence wise, I probably do put myself higher than most people. I am not trying to be a prick honestly, but I think part of it is I have always had better grades than most everyone. *shrug*

 

I am a very confident person, and take pride in being unique and individual. Personality, interests etc, I'd never compare to others. I'm proud to be me.

But I compare myself physically to cis-guys. It's hard not to when I am always seeing those beautiful Japanese rock stars

But yet again, I am trans. They have charistics I should have as well, but I don't.
