Strongly nationalist areas like the Outer Hebrides voting No means it's pretty certain, even if the areas that've declared so far have small populations.

It seems like someone in Dundee is pissing about with the fire alarm, it's gone off three times now according to BBC . As things stand it looks like Yes have a lot of catching up to do, with Aberdeen also looking very likely to go No.

    Inverclyde - 49% yes, 51% no..

At the mo, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, West Lothian look like No. Shetland and Orkney were certain No votes, but the Western Isles and Clackmannanshire are surprising.

Low turnout in Glasgow and Dundee.

So far, I'm happy with the results: 54,8% for "No" and 45.2% for "Yes". But those areas are not very populated. We'll have to wait a little bit more.

Still Glasgow to come which is expected to give Yes a boost. Hopefully Edinburgh and Aberdeen will cancel them out.

Dundee: 57% for "Yes" and 43% for "No".

We have almost a tie right now: 51-49 for "No".

No only needs about 500,000 votes to win, looks like that's what's going to happen

BBC prediction: Scotland to reject independence by 55% to 45%. Six constituencies still to declare.
